The Foolish Drive

you rained me down to a point when
the world was still bright but only just
justified with scars of light
but getting darker still
and me,
sliding and spinning but really just falling down
as the world kept turning perfectly synchronized

Stranger

Stranger, stranger, surprise me hard
Surprise my innocence, catch me off guard
Tell me your stories, tell them incredible
Shatter the very base of my own universe

Stranger stranger, challenge my dreams
Guide me through miracles 'til the last scene
Dream up my stories, make them impossible
Is it my confidence or your coincidence?

Stranger, stranger, show me the edge
Just push me over it then cast your net
with all your stories I found incredible
Now I believe you, your truth's forgivable

She knows

Where did we stop?
The time was tense
And the tense was past
And both of us knew it would never last

Does she know?
Will she tell?
I think she knows but she’ll never tell

We had our spell
The time was tense
The tense present
We didn't start and didn't descend

Does she know?
Will she tell?
I think she knows but she’ll never tell

Day

In the pouring rain
I'll be the fool
who takes you for a walk
on the moors

We'll just roam
until we're very
very cold

And then we'll stop
so you can start to

Play with your veil
through all the seasons
watching fools in a tearoom
dream

Breathe in my name
Walk me through reasons
why I shouldn't be a fool
Please,
wake me up on the day like you

In other silences

far beyond the walls of words
far enough to get lost
telecom breakdown unwelcome
just hissing silence on both ends
only the stars and one small cat

Silent night and silent speech
and silent eyes and silent stream
silently afraid of fading green
of falling leaflets and the rain
slowly dissolving the teabag's pain

when there's a need for parole
no need to interrogate
we should communicate
in other silences

in violent silence we have talked
to tarmac, seagulls and the rock
you broke my dreams I'm breaking yours
not even silence slams my face
e-mails won't talk neither will texts

when there's a need for parole
no need to interrogate
we should communicate
in other silences

Wish

Let it be still
or keep it move

Foster the thrill
or hush the groove

Yield to mirage
or be for real

Breathe in the change
or wax the seal

Wake up with dawn
Enlight the dusk

Gather the pieces
or blow stardust

Feed the passion
or cool sweet lies

Skate with your dreams
your colours run

It's 37
and best to come

Westminster Station

Excuse me
but today's no poetry
just shattered pottery
on streets where the left is right
and nothing's left
just calming memories
cherished inventories
of dreams that never were though some were meant to be

The Book II

My left is written
the right is blank
write by a candle
or full blown lamp

the story’s yours
so is the plot
you have the power
to tie the knot

stick to known places
or throw in few lies
satisfy readers
or catch them off guard

deploy love stories
or blow up a lab
invent new mem’ries
or turn back the time

it’s 30 chapters
write the next one

Storyteller

(Feelingually flammable)

Ploughing the flirt
with dirt of poetry
that squirts open leaving
gaps for lines to gasp
in the words of
silent admiration
ambience ‘f creation
pleasure of waiting to
slip in a word
or two so you
can forgive the fool
keep the photographs
and land your dreams safely

The Book

write me off
or wrap my spine
shuffle the fonts
or underline signs

dust me off
or put away
give me a number
or sell on sale

read me again
or throw me out
skip some pages
or read them twice

dim a candle
or fire light
and if you burn me
make it bright

32 chapters
write next one

Ode To Heidelberg

Enlightened past!
Philosopher’s path
In search for the answers
With questions to ask.
Those were the simpler times
For they had the patience.
Now we know the answer.
But what was the question?

Off the winter

Came off the winter
Disguised fever
Fear of failure
Bruises, revenge
Colder, moulder, bolder in the depth of nights
we shiver
Tear-drop freezes
Silence wakes up
creatures living
to feel what losers offer in spite of winners’ pride

Yes, we’re that kind, yes, we the blind, refuseniks

Words got empty
Snow-white beauty
of newborn sons and
mothers-to-be
Pressure’s mounting, winter slowly comes to life
that freezes us
Cracks in disguise
letting us in
Us in the knowing
of future mindless vultures will be bound to pass

Tear off labels, break the glass of my madness
Promise me you'll freeze the time
Hiding behind veils of curses
We caressed our dreams until they died in graceful lullabies

Words still empty
Faithless feelings,
Goodbyes silenced
in Prufrock’s lovesong
Cry out, deny, win out, spit out embraced lies
that attack
Past off the track
Buried land’s end
burns in silence that
simmers where bidders, grievers, winners came to cry

Yes, we’re that kind, yes we were blind cruel fools. See?

Vicious kickback
Snow-white wasteland
Takes our lives, yes,
Ours, the madmen’s
Who lost to dust and ashes of our dreams that
came off the winter
Disguised in fever
Fear and failure
Bruises, revenge
Colder, moulder, bolder in the depth of nights

we tore off useless labels and broke the bonds
Promised we would freeze with time
Looked behind the veils of curses
Caressed our dreams untill we died in a graceful lullaby

Came off the winter
